Mysore se ooty part1.....
Aug 12th to aug 15th 2005 ..... It was a long weekend ... and so that called for some amount of fun .... we had been kind of lucky coz other wise i was supposed to return back to mlore that weekend and also Jumbo was supposed to travel to Ireland on that friday ... but then luckily both of these got postponed and so we had a nother weekend which we cud spend together ... n so we planned for a trip ... i suggested that we go to my home and along with it visit Mlore too ... but joyees health conditions did not let us decide that place :( ... so we finally decided we go to mysore and ooty ... (Ooty was the idea of the couple involved ;) ) ... so the plan was made that we wud visit mysore and ooty ... the silent beauty of the group also was all set to come with us .... the plan was made the previous day ... of the journey ... as usual last minute decisions ....
we started on saturday ... i had to start at 7.30 go to silk board and meet them ... i reached on time .... Jay jumbo and surya were already there ... waiting for me ... then we 4 went to joyees house ,... she wasnt ready ... after some running around and hurry burry she finally came down with her hubby carrying the luggage :D .... . the trip finally started ....It was a 6 seater Qualis ... the reason was that joyee cna sleep at the back araamse and not complain of any inconvinience .... but then after a while she started feeling suffocated and so me n surya jumped to the back ......... it was pretty cozy out there ... only disadvantage being wait for some one to fold the front seat for us so that we can get down ... else sit inside ... surya was feeling hungry ..so she kept munching good day biscuits ... then after some time Mrs Roy opened her jhola and distributed the sandwiches she prepared for us ...so nice of her ... she spent around 1.5 hours preparing that i beleive with "HUGE" amount of help from hirech though ;) ...
How can a trip be fun without music !! we thought of playing some peppy nubers so that we all get back to life as some fo us were already yawning with our mouth wide open like a hungry crocodile ..... he he .. but then none of us except hiresh ahd any cds and he also had only 3 ... one was some bangla and the other 2 soft instrumentals ...which are lovely to listen only some specific times .. not when u r out with ur friends atleast .... so we sweitched to radio city which again wasnt playing that good collection ... we thought we will have to go without music the whole thru out .... then came the driver to our rescue ...he had a lovely collection of tamil songs ... really nice ones actually ... so the journey continued ..... with some music and then joyee chewing pan to avoid uncomfortable feeling ...... surya was lost in thoughts ... jay msging ... jumbo talking to the driver non stop ... i tried to do some time pass by painting jays nails with marker ...aiming at jumbos head wth a small peice of paper etc etc....
Finally we reached the outscirts of Mysore and the we were told my our lead Mr.JK that we shud b visiting Pallavis house and so we went forward with that idea .... MR.JK kept calling her asking her to lead us to her house ...she was thoroughly confused and finally with lots of turns and wrong roads we landed in front of a temple where she had asked us to wait ..then she led us to her house ... .we had nimbu paani and some chips there and left to the infy guest house .... It was another 15 min drive from there .... .....
