ಓಹ್ ಇದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು ... ಇನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತ ಪಡಿಸಬಹುದು ... ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮೊದಲ ಬರಹ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ... :)

Theres a saying in kannada which says "Noolinanthe seere ...thaayiyanthe magalu" ..which means the sareee would be just like the thread from which its made ...similarly daughter will be just like mom ... now am starting to wonder if its true ... might just be ... firstly cos ... tho daughter is always dads pet ... they do talk a lot to mom tooooo ...and then as the saying goes ..moms the first teacher ... so may be ... she does become the role model in many ways ... have seen many cases where in ... u see the daughter and u can make out how her mom is !!!! if moms clean freak daughter picks it up too .. similar way if mom's messy .. daughter is messy too ... and the attitude as well is passed on to the daughter ... ... still wondering if i shud accept this proverb or not !!!!

How nice would it be to be free of all obligations and ties !!!! less worries ..... full tu bindaas ... mite b good right? just do what u feel like ... be how u want to ... everything is "what u want" ....

I keep wondering ... when i see/hear ppl cursing each other ... do they really work ? Why are ppl so scared about being cursed then ???

Cheating ..corruption everywhere ... how do i make out whats real and whats fake ? i go on road ... see people in rags / needy .. but then not sure ..if they are really needy ... Shud i help?? i dont and i feel guilty .... u go to the shop... buy fruits ... come home and c half of them r rotten ... some stranger knocks the door .. asks for some water ...ppl open the door and next thing u hear is they have been beaten up and robbed of all their valuables ... U make friends with someone ... share wholeheartedly whatever u hv ..no negetive thoughts ..but the person is using u to get somehting done .. U trust someone cos of their soft nature ..sweet talks and sometime down the line u realise they r just buttering u to give them all ur posestions and slowly moving away .. so how can u trust someone? how wud u know if u r gonna be hurt later on ... or ur posessions wud be snatched away ???

Donnno what it is ... dont think its jealousy cos its not like she wants to be like them ... nor she envys them ... but then def somethings wrong ..she's not pleased ..or isnt open to conversations.. can disappointment with self be linked to jealousy ??

I have been thinking from few days ... and its bugging me ... and whats eating my head is ... Is staying in a place/house permanently good or moving around is better? may both have their own plus and minuses ... but hvnet been able to point out one better than other may be .. But in some ways staying in same place mite give u strong bonding with ppl around ..but moving around also does giv u a chance to meet new ppl and make friends !! :)

In School… It used to be like a rough sheet to do some calculations … Or wipe away the extra ink from the hand Used even to whiten the Rubber (“eraser” as it is called) ….or sharpen the pencil led Or just take a divider and draw circles just-for-fun A tool used for Punishment – “Stand up on the bench” ;) A dining table during lunch break … A Pillow when u want to cry or are sad/angry … A support to sleep … And also used to read/write In colleges …. It would tell Love stories of the past and the present … “A loves R” carved inside a heart …or “raj on the tail of arrow pointing to Rani …arrow passing thru the heart” which would symbolically represents Raj Loves Rani… Would also be the pointers to know the who belongs to which group of friends … or movie names …or dialogues … That’s the source of gossips about who-likes-whom kinds …or who’s called the “chamcha”,”pakao”,”chaalu” etc etc A canvas for the artists …. To draw all kinds of faces …flowers designs … A meeting table when frien

Groom’s is a computer geek Brides born and brought up in village … Groom loves wearing Dhothi-Kurtha Brides a Fashion Freak … Groom Motu Motu … Bride’s Size Zero … Groom hardly talks … Bride doesn’t stop talking … He is shy and timid .. And she is called “bold and beautiful” He Loves home made food … She eats out atleast once in 2 days … He likes to stay indoors Shes a party animal … She’s a spendthrift …. He is very calculative even when buying a pound of bread He talks very fluent English … She knows only limited words She loves getting drenched in rain … and enjoys dancing in rain He starts sneezing when its raining outside … He hates the sight of cats and Dogs …. She loves them more than human beings .. He doesn’t drink tea coffee … She’s a tea/coffee addict .. He doesn’t believe in god , pooja etc … She goes to temple every Tuesday and fasts on few occasions … For him festival is good food and holiday For her festival means get together with other family members , do all the r

Christmas weekend ….. One of the quickest , completely unplanned n economic trips I went for …. 3 of us decided we got to go somewhere for a trip … as it was long time since we went out and I wanted to get out of the City … So we decided to go for a short trip due to constraints like … one wasn’t free the next day .. and then we got to get back soon the day we go also ..etc etc … We decided to start around 8ish but ended up starting at 10 … We decided to meet at Kengeri which is on the way … It was lunch time by then and I hadn’t had my breakfast so tummy was growling … … so we had lunch there in a small but clean hotel … Full meals … started feeling sleepy but then … Then we started to Ramnagar … peak Sunny … Took a ksrtc bus … Reached ramnagar in 45 mins or so … then got some gnyaan from a fellow passenger along with the info that we had crossed our stop and we wud have to walk … So we got down n started walking walking … Close to 2 kmts to the stop where we were supposed to get down

She loved junk food … never entered kitchen … made a fuss to eat Mom made meals … Now she cooks exotic dishes 3-4 times a day .. hardly eats out … and tries not to waste the left overs She threw her own clothes all over the place .. and expected them to be washed and pressed when she wanted them next… Now she makes it a point to keep things in place … see to it they was washed and pressed … She Loved shopping and hardly worried about what it costed … Now she thinks twice before buying anything … She hated going to functions and her mom begged – pleaded to accompany her for some functions And now she has to attend some functions cos she represents the Family … and that’s how its supposed to be She woke up only at 10-11 on weekends and did nothing but laze around .. Now whole weekend she is busy with cleaning laundry and groceries …. She wasn’t restricted to return back home early … Now its yearns to be back home by 6.30 – 7 …. She used to be with friends all the time … now She ha
