Life’s small pleasures ….

In our busy schedule we forget to enjoy the little pleasures of life … there are so many things which we forget to notice … we keep running behind things which might not give us even 10% happiness what we get from things which we can never buy with money !! just see the smile on the face of a kid when u get a chocolate … watch the kitten playing with a marble … the kids playing with water … calf running around in the field …having hot hot bhutta and walking on a drizzling day … long walks with a lovely friend with never ending talks accompanied .. building sand castles in beach … enjoying the sunset in the sea shore …collecting shells on sea shore … meeting an old friend over coffee … enjoying the coffee watching the pouring rain .. Happiness on the face of the lady of the house when u compliment her for the dishes she cooked … etc etc …
Do we actually spend time with our loved ones ?? do we get to enjoy the small pleasures in life ? I guess we have forgotten how to enjoy these things …we forget the impact what our friends family have on us and what we would be without having them around !! …. We should be enjoying these small small things coz life is too short to concentrate only on big things !!

Theres a saying in kannada which says "Noolinanthe seere ...thaayiyanthe magalu" ..which means the sareee would be just like the thread from which its made ...similarly daughter will be just like mom ... now am starting to wonder if its true ... might just be ... firstly cos ... tho daughter is always dads pet ... they do talk a lot to mom tooooo ...and then as the saying goes ..moms the first teacher ... so may be ... she does become the role model in many ways ... have seen many cases where in ... u see the daughter and u can make out how her mom is !!!! if moms clean freak daughter picks it up too .. similar way if mom's messy .. daughter is messy too ... and the attitude as well is passed on to the daughter ... ... still wondering if i shud accept this proverb or not !!!!

Trip to Queen of Hill stations Ooty !!

Date : 27-28 May 2017  Start : Bangalore  Destination : Ooty [Hairpin curve 10] Kmts Covered : 276 kmts Stay : LEOPARD ROCK WILDERNESS RESORT Group - 4 [Me, JK , KM and HR] MoT : RE :) I was cribbing that long time we went out ..so we should get out somewhere for the weekend .. And finally JK gave in to my pestering on Wednesday and our lovely friends KM and HR were also ready to join us.. Initial plan was to visit Masinagudi [we were all tempted after hearing  so much of praising from KM about the place he stayed ..The Monarch] .. Unfortunately our two attempts to book resorts in Masinagudi failed with KM being on calls with GoIbibo and Yatra to get the refund done ... all places were S*** expensive and Booked ... we were looking at the last moment i.e. a day before the trip and realised it was also the last weekend before the Schools re-opened and so it was obvious everyone wanted to get out !! Friday eve and we still didnt have a place to stay ... we then started thinking
