Hmm …. How feasible it it to be a professional at work …. ??
Do we really want something like that where it is “ no strings attached “ !!!
May be I have never faced such a situation !! where people just do their work and ask u for the status of your work and leave ….may b it’s the way they work … cant really blame …may be they don’t want to bring personal things at work ! quite possible …
but even if they are the people u know ??? don’t you feel that you should ask if they want some help when you know that they are in trouble ?? or is it that you should just be inconsiderate and go ahead and load them with more work ???
May be if we put ourselves in their shoes we would know better … may b all they are concerned is what needs to be done ….

But …would have like if it was a bit informal in some situations and people cared for their colleagues too !!
