Theres a saying in kannada which says "Noolinanthe seere ...thaayiyanthe magalu" ..which means the sareee would be just like the thread from which its made ...similarly daughter will be just like mom ... now am starting to wonder if its true ... might just be ... firstly cos ... tho daughter is always dads pet ... they do talk a lot to mom tooooo ...and then as the saying goes ..moms the first teacher ... so may be ... she does become the role model in many ways ... have seen many cases where in ... u see the daughter and u can make out how her mom is !!!! if moms clean freak daughter picks it up too .. similar way if mom's messy .. daughter is messy too ... and the attitude as well is passed on to the daughter ... ... still wondering if i shud accept this proverb or not !!!!

Being Professional...............

Hmm …. How feasible it it to be a professional at work …. ?? Do we really want something like that where it is “ no strings attached “ !!! May be I have never faced such a situation !! where people just do their work and ask u for the status of your work and leave ….may b it’s the way they work … cant really blame …may be they don’t want to bring personal things at work ! quite possible … but even if they are the people u know ??? don’t you feel that you should ask if they want some help when you know that they are in trouble ?? or is it that you should just be inconsiderate and go ahead and load them with more work ??? May be if we put ourselves in their shoes we would know better … may b all they are concerned is what needs to be done …. Uffff…...whatever that’s now I really cant comment …forget it ….. But …would have like if it was a bit informal in some situations and people cared for their colleagues too !!

Small pleasures in life !!

Its the small small things which we enjoy the max ...and these things cannot be bought with money ...... feels so good when u think back about them ... some of the things that give me a tickle whenever i think of them: preparing tea or coffee at 2 a.m during exam study holidays (that too black coffe and black tea most of the times )...take the tea and go to the terrace wth a friend just with an intension to freshen up so that we can sit and study the rest of the night ...and then end up talking till 5 a.m about all the things under sun ... then last mein late realisation that neither did we sleep nor did we study !! get a hand written letter from a friend !! get wet in the rain and on top of that to avoid catching cold drink tea in a road side shop take a lift in a lorry ...after waiting fro around 15 in for bus small small treats without any reason ... where in we wud share the pastries and pizzas ... playing with ur kitten loong loong talks with ur best pal !! chatting through chits...
